Progression thread: Cleo the Butter Motley

No, Axis! That was inside on the living room floor. I want to take them all out, but though mowed, our yard is so rough I'm afraid of losing them! Thank you, she loves that blanket!

Let's just say I'm older than you and not a old as RichZ, lol. However I'm definitely in the upper echelon here.

This is the little face I woke up to this morning. What a great way to start the day!

It's been a while since I've checked up on Cleo...she's gotten so big! So cute wrapped up in her log. ^-^

Cleo's birthday is tomorrow, but that's feeding day so we did some pictures today. It's amazing to see these compared to her first hatchling picture (at the beginning of this thread in the deli cup).

Have to have some log pics:

And here's her birthday portrait:

Happy Birthday early! Since I won't be around tomorrow don't want Cleo to think I forgot her! She's looking very 'old'! :)

Thanks Ken! Yeah, officially becoming a yearling. I think that's something like a teenager in human terms, lol.

Thank you Hikari. Very kind of you!

I've taken to using this :dancer: in celebration, but yeah, not a lot here for happy occasions.

FYI a juicy hopper mouse is currently thawing. It's a happy coincidence that she gets a birthday meal, but I'll take it!

Happy Birthday Cleo!

She is looking so great DollysMom, I cannot believe how big she is now! But still has such a sweet little face :)

Thanks so much, Jag! :)

I weighed her pre-feeding and she's now 134 grams! This girl sure wants to grow. I'm still feeding her 8 to 10 gram hoppers weekly.

As you can see, Cleo had a good birthday nom and has now retired to her warm rock hide.

It's not always easy to show their true color. At least on my iPad, this is what Cleo looks like to me in real life. I also got a measurement. She is now 2 feet, 10 inches.

If she looks a little bulky at the rear, especially in the measuring picture, she bestowed a giant poop on the blanket at the end of her excursion today. The blanket is in the washer as I write.

One thing for sure, she definitely has a teeny, slender girly tail. The odds of her being missexed are very slim IMO, forgive the pun.

♫♫♪ If you think it's butter but it's not ♫♫♪
♫♫♪ It's Cleo ♫♫♪

I guess cleaning her cage is quite easy. She seems to poop outside of it more than inside.

I wish I could teach Rufus to use a "Litter Box" instead of his preferred places...... His water bowl, the leaves of his vines, the side of the glass..... LOL

About Rufus, "missing" is just part of raising a boy, lol.
