Progression thread:Our Lucky IJ project.

The Devils Advocate
Here's a few pics of our IJ project and a bit of background...
A while ago a pair of IJ's came to us as a proven pair...
The guy we bought them off hadn't bred them, but swore the guy he got them off had... Decided that IJ's didn't fit into his projects, so sold all the young and then the parents.

Thats the female we got and this year she gave us nice clutch which all hatched...
We decided to keep hold of the babies until they were a few months old to see what colouring they would do...
Lucky we did, as we saw a thread on another forum asking if they had the nicest IJ ever...

Here's a pic of it....

But if you look at the link and read the first line... It says SWMorelia own the parents.... Thats Me...:dancer:
I'm him on other forums....
It appears Ian had sold everything and then after a year this baby returned as an unwanted pet..
So we got in touch with Ian and looked through his old photos of the snake as a baby...
Heres one of a trio we held back....

So thats how it started...
We'll update this from time to time and see how this project develops...

That little guy is amazing -- I love his gold eyes. I kind of wish IJ's would retain more of their reddish colour as they age, it looks good on them.
