Question about size

Eriathiel

Short and Sweet
I apologize if this is in the wrong place... but it was just a general question so I'm putting it here :)

I was wondering, with hatchinglings, does size affect anything (I was thinking health-wise)? I was looking at some available hatchlings and several were much larger then others (from the same clutch of eggs). I don't know much about young corns, so I thought I would ask. :) Any thoughts on the topic would be helpful! Thanks!

Yes I realized I spelled "hatchlings" wrong right after I posted... so now I feel silly :) Please excuse the error! :)

I am new to all this but i think they range in different sizes when hatchlings. My baby is approx 3 of 4 months old and is 15 inches and 11 grams. and been told that he is smaller now then some hatchlings. but he is healthy as a ox.

Though size isnt a key indicator of health if they all appear good and healthy I would take the largest available.

Size may be an indicator of how old the hatchling is. Like 9 inches would be pretty fresh, 12" could be one or two months old.
