Quick question about my snake he ate last saturday he ate and i have had this guy for about 2 weeks we searched all through the tank but still we couldn't find any snake poo and i think after over 2 weeks of having him i would of thought that he would of had to have a movement by now.

Well... it not like dog crap, I mean I had mine poop on me a few times so I know what to look for but when I search the VIV I just pick up any clumps I find, cause I think most of it just get adsorbed into the substrate.

Good hunting

i checked all over the viv i picked up all the chunks and moved all around the substrate like every piece of it and moved and looked in all the hides and everything but hes just a baby do the hatchlings poo less then yearlings or adults? but yes i looked for a good 10-15 minutes with the snake out of the viv and still could not find anything

Yes, the poop is less, size to size. I use aspen so that why I just pick up the clumps. I don't know the size of your VIV but if your spending 10 or so minutes looking for poop... It just ain't there!

lol its a 20 galleon tank and i use aspen to and i know it wasn't there that was my question y hasnt it pooped in 2 weeks or so because it ate on saturday and you'd think it would be gone through the digestive system and stuff and he didnt even poo on me when i took out for the first time on monday night or ever when i took him so and i heard they do that when you take them out usually so thats why i asked if he should of pooed by now or not i was wondering if there was something wrong with the wee lad. and 2 weeks seems like a long time for a snake that small to take a poo

A lot of times hatchling poo will just crumble into nothing before you get to it. Their poos are so little that they dry very quickly, and if it gets crawled over a few times after it dries it just crumbles to dust.

Try giving him a bath. let him sit in water. room temp. Sometimes that helps.

or you could try letting him roam around on your carpet or couch, that always seems to work for mine because he doesn't like to get his viv dirty apparently.

No, I'm not kidding.
