Question for you...

You'll want to spot clean the vivarium anytime theres a poop, I do a full clean with a disinfectant etc. about every 5 weeks, im sure others do it differently.

Spot clean everytime there's poop; Tank gets bleached and aspen changed once every two months.

Same as Jenni.

Poop-scoop & local disinfection as it appears (which will be as often as you feed).

Then once every couple of months, a total emptying of the whole viv, chuck away all substrate, disinfection of the interior plus all hides, plastic foliage, water bowls etc, check UTH & stat are working as expected and not showing any signs of damage, then completely new substrate.

I spot clean and change the water daily, change the bedding every 2 weeks, and disenfect once a month. I also remove all shed skin as soon as I see it.

Spot clean as neccessary and then a full on clean out and disinfect every 4 to 8 weeks, let your nose guide you, if it's a bit smelly after 4 weeks then do a complete change out, but I wouldn't go longer than about 8 weeks.

Hope that helps.

You know, I dont recall seeing cleaning procedures in any care sheets or books even on the care sheet I wrote up....

Wow! Talk about taking knowledge for granted.
