They call me Cent
i have a question for you

storm's eggs where laid on 5.26.12 and there is 6 of them so far only two are red inside the other 4 are poor to still yellowish inside but look normal on the outside... are they bad or just slow? she did have 7 slugs and this is her first year reproducing. The breeding was hypo lavender het anery to charcoal motley ph anery.

Sounds like they are infertile, i have the same thing only i have 2 eggs good out of 22... give it time incase they should mould up in a few weeks

I suck at candling eggs. I'd have thrown out both my first clutches ever if I went by if I saw veins or not, and they were 100% fertile.

Thank you! Im hoping for a pair from that clutch but I will happy for at lease 2 healthy babies out of that clutch. The male is a proven breeder and I have one of his daughters here and he has had mass clutches of healthy babies hatch out last year from the breeder I got him from. I'm just at a lost for this clutch. My other clutches are doing perfect so far all veined up and developing just fine.

Yeah I would hold onto them because the clutch of butters I have hatching right now were the same way. I couldn't really see anything till 3 or 4 weeks into it but I was starting to think that maybe they were not fertile to. I am wondering if that is why they took so long to hatch though. I guess time will tell.

I've got a clutch that looked yellow for the longest time. They're about a month into incubation and they're kinda looking red now and none have moulded, so we're holding onto them with fingers crossed for babies :D (amel het blood poss het charcoal, anery, hypo x same pairing)

I'm hoping they're actually fertile. They were all nice and white when they were laid. We had to give them a quick clean/moss change last night because their container got left open just a smidge and when I opened it again the top was all white mould!! -.- BUT the eggs have all held their ground and after being switched to clean moss and brushed off with a toothbrush they seem alright. Fingers crossed for healthy babies, and some hets to be proven out! (would LOVE some whiteouts... or avalanches... or both lol)
