I have one of those stick on guages, like it's 5 inches long roughly, and it has a peel off on the back, not a round one. but anyway, I dont know if I shoudl get a round one, with the stick guage deal, not like the one that changes colors, because on the ground where the uth is is warmer than where I have my temp guage, and I have it stuck in teh middle of the viv, vertical and horizontal it's pretty much in the middle. but I just cant' really trust it, I have to just get an aproximate guess by it, but I want a real good accurate reading. what temp guage would you guys recomend. how shoudl I put it in, where ect, thanks

I usually go to the feed store and buy the glass mercury ones set in the metal stands. They are intended to be used for incubators. Never had a problem inucubating bird eggs by what they say, or with keeping herps at the temps they read at.

Usually they are around $2 each.
