Quick help with genetics

OK, so my first set of eggs are all hatching now and they all look great. My question is I believe all the babies are normal het for different things. Here is the info on the parents.

Father: 100% het for hypomel

Mother's parents were: Father- Snow Stripe and the mother was Snow Motley

What kind of babies are these?

I did Mick's Cornsnake predictor and these are the results:

25% het for snow, het for hypo, het for motley
25% het for snow, het for motley
25% het for snow, het for hypo het for stripe
25% het for snow, het for stripe

Does this sound right?

Thanks,

Howie

No.

The father was a normal het for hypo.

The mother (based on your parental genotypes) is a snow motley/stripe.

So all of the snakes will be normals het for anery, amel, motley OR stripe, and 50% poss het for hypo.

One more quick question....

On Mick's predictor, all I click on for the father is het for hypo. What do I click for the mother's type?

Thanks...

Dunno, I don't use a predictor. If there's two columns for each gene, then you'd click one box for motley, and one box for stripe, as well as the normal snow and such.

A snake that is genotypically a motley/stripe is essentially het for motley and het for stripe.

That's exactly what Mick's predicted:

25% het for snow, het for hypo, het for motley
25% het for snow, het for motley
25% het for snow, het for hypo het for stripe
25% het for snow, het for stripe

The Mother would be a Snow Motley/Stripe!
The Genetics used to make up a snow are Amelanistic and Anerythristic Type "A"..
As far as i can remember there was a selection for Striped & Motley.(been ages since i used the program)

Hope that helps a bit..

Hey Howie, Why didn't you use T.O : Hope he is doing OK?

Hey Larry....T.O. is just fine. Actually he is the biggest of the bunch. He just had no interest the last time I used him to breed. Beautiful looking snake though...However, he is still a little fiesty. His sister is as calm as they come.

:-offtopic
Did you breed any this year?

Motley het butter x Stripe-Motley het butter
Caramel Motley & Motley (hatched 7-10)
Amel het butterMotley x Stripe-Motley het butter
Should hatch next week
Aztec Opal x Motley het butter
Should hatch next week
Hope to get some amel het lavender motley from these.
