Quick Question about shedding/feeding

The Maddest Hatter
Hey there! Haven't been here in a while but I have a question!

Alrighty, my snake Benji has gone through his first shed here with me and he shed in mostly one huge piece except for like two little ((IE: tiny)) scraps left on him. Is this considered a good shed even with two pieces still on him? Also pinkies seem to be too small for him now. Should we feed him fuzzies now or feed him pinkies twice a week?

Two small bits left isn't a major issue but they still need removing. The tip of the tail is most crucial.

When bumping up to fuzzies, I usually feed two pinkies at once for a couple of weeks first. If they stay down, then it's time to move up. The food item should be 1.5 times the width of the snake's body (not the head or neck).

Let him slither through a damp paper towel - that should work.

You could try feeding him two pinkies each feeding. My snake is still a hatchling but he's big enough now that one pinky was obviously not enough for him so I bumped him up to two and that seems to be perfect for him.
