Quick question before I take off for weekend....

Hey all,
I am taking my daughter camping this weekend so we are gonna be gone from Saturday morning until Monday evening. <Canada Day Weekend> so I was wondering if it would be ok to turn off the heat source while I am gone. Anubis isn't gonna be digesting his meal then cause I fed him Wednesday night. I didnt' wanna got away and leave the lamp on unattended for the length of time. I bought a timer for my light but pfft piece of crap dont' work. Paid $29.99 for it so gotta bring it back this weekend. Anyways, was just wondering if this will be ok for Anubis. So if anyone can let me know soon it would be greatly appreciated. Tks all.

Josh

I think it depends what the daytime high and night time low temps are where you live.

Any ideas?

Temps would make a big difference. Why are you not using a UTH with thermostat? Risk of fire is low that way and you won't have to worry about the lamp.

You can find a good timer for $5 at Canadian Tire.
If your house is over about 23°c or so I wouldn't worry, much lower than that would be pretty chilly for your snake.
