Quick Question

Can anyone who knows a huge deal about Californian Kings please PM me

You know....If you type "Californian Kings" on the internet you'll come up with tons of information yourself.

They're California kings, not Californian. This will help you perform your own research. Their care is identical to corns', and you've been taking care of your Mum's corn for months, so what else do you need to know? Of course, if you're still just playing around on this forum like you were in your other thread, please play elsewhere.

Im not -.- I got my own snake 2 days ago, and was looking after the corn for about 1week, and only saw it 2 days a week since i went over there on weekends

Maybe. In another thread he did the creepy fake-attention thing. Said a snake was lost that wasn't, and let people make sympathy posts. Then he posted some other very creepy, weird stuff, but afterward claimed that his account had been hacked. Yeah right. He also had his age listed at 65. He may be legit now, but I know that I'll need more evidence. He seemed to like wasting peoples' time, so I'm not so inclined to give much of mine in answering his questions... yet.

Am installing my webcam now to take pictures of my snake (Sorry if they will be blurry)

I need post here to argue i just needed some decent advice

i'm holding it 5mins ago he tried moving off my hand but now hes settling so thats good :)

What advice do you need to this statement.

But... you have been giving advice. What more do you need?

Ok then. Here's some advice: don't crap where you eat. As far as king snake advice goes, you've been given all you need in this thread already. There are many king lovers on this site-- I'm one of them. But this IS a corn snake site, so you can't expect people here to give you the A-Z guide on king care, and hold your hand every step of the way. If you need details that haven't been covered, go do some research. You're sitting in front of the greatest repository of information the human species has ever assembled. Use it.

Ok relax.
But I'm still not sure what your Husbandry and Basic Care question on corns is??? And from what I read... Kings are close to the same as corns.
But a little misunderstand seems to be the main problem here I thinks.
Here is what I give new owners to help them out a bit. After reading this, after reading this, if you have any other question about corns, please ask away.
Good Luck to you. :santa:

Well, I guess I'VE been told. :grin01: You're in the wrong sub-forum anyway. This one is "Husbandry and Basic Care" of CORN SNAKES. Your king questions belong in "General Chit-Chat". Maybe you'll find some people there who are willing to spoon-feed you answers and do your homework for you.

You're a good man, Lenny (aka Duke of URL). And as I stated and you reiterated, Cali care is the same as corn care. The kid can trust me on this, because I keep both. Everything he needs to know is in those links.

Sorry about the drawing it was done in MSpaint and i have nothing to take a picture of the actual viv, but thats basically what it looks like

During nights my california king trys to always escape by pushing its head on the door (open/close) Its impossible for a snake at mines age to push it open but i just want it to be comfortable is its new home

Ive had it for 5 days now, and i would of thought he was of calmed down and settled in.

Is this normal?

.
Yes, they are escape artists. They will test every single weak spot in the cage until they realize they cannot get out.

And they never seem to realize they can't get out.

It will take a lot longer than 5 days for him to get completely used to his new home. Give him more time.

Is there any meaning of when underneath your snake is a sort of lighter colour (for example: my snakes black on top and now kinda greay underneath)
