hello. i am about to order a sterilite rack from animal plastics.. and i have a few options for the heating method, so i was wondering what you guys would think is best. back heat, belly heat, indirect belly or overhead radiant? i'm not absolutly sure what the difference between all of them are.. and can't find more info on the website. so any help will be much appreciated!
 
I am also ordering an ap rack and I asked the same question you are asking. The response I got was: Take it for what its worth but the one I am getting is indirect belly heat.

I asked about that the other day too, and was told by one of the posters that they use back heat now, and like that better. They use the flexwatt tape with a rheostat. I'm thinking of getting a UTH and mounting it on a piece of glass and then using it under the rubbermaid container. I'm not sure if I should try belly, or back heat. I have belly heat for my regular vivs right now, but for the new snakes, I'm going to use the Rubbermaid.
