Rack System back heat vs. belly heat

What's the difference, and which one should I go with? I'm using it for both corn snakes and leopard geckos. I was thinking belly heat would make the most sense, but I don't want to overheat the tub...

Well if you're worried about overheating, that's what a thermostat is for.

Just what I was thinking :) But if I remember correctly leopard geckos need a hot spot of around 90*F and corns need low to mid 80's, so you would need two thermostats hooked to different heat mats/tapes/strips, whatever it is you'll be using.

Could you belly heat part of the rack for the leopard geckos and back heat for the corns? Just a thought :)

I keep my my leopard geckos and snakes in my rack that has back heat. I keep it around 85-87 and all the animals are doing great. Also I don't push the corns' tubs as far back and I push the ball python's and the gecko's tubs all the way back against the heat cable so their tubs get a few degrees warmer then the corns. As long as you keep and eye of the temps you should be fine.
