Check out the DIY section of the forum. You'll find soooo many ideas of different types of racks. Also, you can find one that meets your budget, and can maybe alter a design to one that would work best for you if need be.

Here are my two adult racks. One took about $30 to build, the other $50. The cost is without tubs. Tubs on the larger rack run about $6.50. (32 quart locking lids). The smaller rack are 28 quart tubs and run around $6.00. I leave the lids on my containers to help with humidity. Which means I do not have to use Melamine and therefore is a lot more inexpensive. I have had no board warping in 3 years.

I will see if I can find the directions on how to build them.

I think my next rack might have to be something along the lines of this... the first one i did was done free of charge, i just had to put it together myself. but I know I'll need a bigger hatchling rack in the next 2-3 years. And unless i have extra money I won't be able to get another rack done like the one i have (all fancy with edge tape and cut and machined).
I like this idea, but I'd probably put full back's and sides on them though.

Yes, the plans if I remember were from the web. I think Matt at Blue Apple Herps had posted them, if I remember correctly. I modified it a little by using plywood and keeping my tops on. Being up in Canada I would think sides would come in handy holding in some heat. The large rack has a back, the smaller one has a partial back. I am about to re-do the heat on the large one to back heat. The room they stay in stays in the mid 70's(72-76), so back heat should give them a comfortable hot spot in the rear corner of the tub.
