well i raise my own mice, here is what I do. I have them all divided into tanks by age. i have a tank full of babies after they have been weaned. After a month they go into a "holding" tank. this tank has the mice that I feed to my python in it. I also have a select few that make it to the breeder tank. Which is where all the pregnant females go. Mice can breed about every 28 days, so be prepared for a lot of them in a short time. I keep mine in the garage to cut down on the smell. I also change the bedding once a week. Although i also have found that it is a lot less hassle to just order frozen mice. no smell, no mess, no worries. Which leads to the debate about feeding live or frozen/thawed. Which i will not get into. My opinion is feed them which ever way you choose. Anyway good luck on the mice.....
