Rare "lovebite" footage

betterboa

My male apollo had been cooling for 3 months. I slowly started reheating and feeding him. And 3 meals later he shed!!

I always introduce the females into the males enclosure. and instantly I had heavy twitching and chasing happening!!

Trying not to disturb them too much I grabbed the camera and flashlight and managed to catch some never-before-seen footage!!!

The female is the snow corn and the male an anery!!!! Both have bred 2 times together in the past. Boreas the female actually yawns and kinda love bites at the male???

Has anyone ever seen this before?????

I think that was a yawn!! Nice footage. It's nice how Boreas wanted to maintain head-to-head contact.

That "Yawn" remninds me of my cats when they yawn. You thought they couldn't open their mouths any further, and then they open them some more.
