Rat breeding

Well would I be right in saying you are actually british? you do fly the union jack as part of your flag.

LOL now you have opened a can of worms. Australia does have the union jack as part of its flag. Australia was colonised by the Brits, after the Dutch didn't want it. As for me being British, that will be a difficult one to prove in your favour, as (gasp) I go back to Irish and Scottish ancestry, but you have to go back 6 generations.
Please realise all my comments are said tongue in cheek and should be taken as such. :noevil:

Don't be gasping too much at Irish heritage, Graffixcs...*L*...I have Irish in me, including the temper, which is NO myth!!!

Slither, as to wondering if the mom will attack you when you take the babies out...I have had LOTS of litters, and not once have I gotten bit or nipped, scratched, or anything like that for taking the babies, although as I have varying sizes of snakes, I don't generally take all the babies at once either...I think it more depends on how much you are "friends" with your female rat, and the personality of the rat.

:sidestep: LOL ohh lordy ..... there is nothing wrong with being, or partly, Irish. The gasp was because I am sure that will just leave slither yet another opening.
Maybe I just have over protective rats as both of my females bite, but only when they have young. They (as with slithers) are pets that have a beneficial bonus.

LOl, I have no problem with the irish, apart from they're backwards lol JKJKJK. Paddy and Murphy, walking down the road...........lol. So really you'r quite british then. Wouldn't like to try and figure out how much though. hehe.
About the rats, I've been told by a few people that they'll bite me when the time comes to remove, but *touch wood* they wont. I imagine they will as I've only had them a little over a week, and the females still a little skittish. the male lets me pick him up no probs, maybe the odd squeek every now and again, but the female wont let me, she just tucks up and kind of walks backwards out of my grasp. I hope she comes round sooner rather than later, as I'm sure the longer it takes the harder it will be. I spose I'll wear my welding gloves when I first attempt.
