specifically, a "Tequila Sunrise" line snow het hypo X het amel black rat snake...These are hatching out now...The other cross I did with this line (Hypo X "TS" line Anery A) resulted in nada; no eggs...
Very nice. I love the chocolate brown saddles. It's amazing how the black rat gene come out so well in the babies.
:-offtopic I did a similar breeding this year. We know the parents have black rat in them and corn. But when the eggs hatched it was obvious they were also both het amel and anery. I got one snow and one anery and 3 amels. Heres a link to my thread if you would like to compare how they look.
Kind of a mix in belly patterns, as far as how "checked" or the check alignment, markings, but so far all have a defined "stripe" i.e. check-free down the middle of the belly...
They're all het snow, and possible het hypo and amelanism from the rat snake mom. If ya need a few to outcross with lemme know :*)
