Rat size question

I have a year old corn, about 30 inches. I can't tell you his weight, because I've yet to buy a digital scale.

Question : Is it okay to feed him pinky rats? I've fed him them before, sometimes 2 at a time if I haven't got to feed him the last week, and he eats them fine, has a huge bulge in his tummy for about 3 days, and then passess them naturally. He's not fat, but would this be considered over-feeding? Just curious.

They probably should only have a food bump for 2 days max. I would assume if it takes them more than 3 days to digest that the meal was too big. The general rule of thumb is to feed a food item 1.5 times the thickest part of your snake.
