Ratio scale

Any idea how many mice I would need to breed to supply two snakes who just started on fuzzies? I can and would keep extra/surplus mice to grow to adult for my 5yr. old
Any kind of ratio scale: number of mice breeders to snakes.
I can and would freeze pinks if going to end up with too many at size needed and also any miscalculatios on the other end could be large adults for my 5yr old corn.
I know this is a hard question but I want just an idea how many breeder pairs to start?

I raise feeders and had 14 mice(4.10) for 11 snakes at most I had and was just about even w/o buying feeders but a couple times. Two of my trios are older mice tho and only had litters every 5-6 wks.

So the ratio how many I had going was 1.30:1 (in decimal, mice:snakes)
I could've had a more productive tank or two, that'd made it out to 1.20-1.25:1
Start with one male and 2 young females and see if that will be enough. They have litters 10-12+ pups when they are younger every ~3 wks. They are fuzzies at 8-10 days, so it'll take a few weeks to get your first feeders out of them.
Good luck, it does save $$, but is a little more trouble.
