I have been following the general rules in regards to grams: how much the snake should weigh and how much the prey should weigh. Right now I have her on two fuzzies but I wanted to get an opinion on if the fuzzies are wide enough or should I upgrade to adult mice? I'm not sure how much they weigh usually...Jacks only have pinkies to fuzzies to adult mice (is that usual?)
Here's some pictures:
The second picture is her eating the second mouse and the first is in her tummy at the top of the picture. Just wanted to know. She doesn't look too fat does she? Haha...It just seems like she isn't getting much longer, but she's gaining weight. Maybe I'm just too close to notice.
I think what you are feeding her now is good. You can still see a slight lump of the first fuzzy. I think adults would still be way to big for her. She looks like a healthy growing little gal. I would let her get some more size before trying adult. She looks like you are doing a fine job taking care of her
I would recommend getting hoppers and/or weaned mice before you try her on adults. You can usually find some at a local reptile show. If not, you might think about ordering from The Mouse Factory or Rodent Pro.
