and the founding family of Fort myers

Oh! I thought this thread was about invaders from outer space...

"Shortly after the guttatanoids left the Sol sector, the Realtions began their final push for domination of the system..."

woh! off topic here... I want to know who people are related to, unless you are related to chuck norris, then you are like hercules not a god but a relative of one.

wait my first post doesnt sound right im related to Pocahontas and the founding family of fort myers(florida)

Ever heard of Wayne Newton!?

Well, I'm not related to him, but I am supposedly related (on my mom's side) to the presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams. Though, Adams is a fairly common name so you can never be too certain. I've never actually seen the family tree. :shrugs:

Those are the only "famous" people I can think of.

My great great uncle, William V. Engelberger, installed the very first commode in the state of New Jersey. Laugh if you must, but this is a big deal in plumbing history :crazy02:

Samuel Morse inventor of the telegraph and Morse code. He's way, way back there...somehow.

I supposedly have a great great something or other that invented the Blickendorfer Typewriter which, I've been told, is on display in the Smithsonion. At least that's the story idk. :shrugs: I'm from Brad Pitts home town. Dose that count? lol

The typewriter was invented by George Blickensderfer. If you look in a phone book for Tuscawares County in Ohio, there is about a page and a half of Blickensderfers. If your name is spelled Blickendorfer, there is a good chance that we are related. :wavey:

My Brother in laws' brother is Carl Barat - Who was in the Libertines and is now in the band Dirty Pretty Things.
His sister is an actress who was an extra in Troy too, and because the credits were in order of appearance, she came first lol.

Well, down the line I am related to Benny Binion, the founder of The Binion's Horseshoe Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. If, in the unlikely event that 60 some-odd people die before me, I become a very rich woman. :)

My brother's wife is related Ron White's cousin, so I guess I could say I'm related to him by marriage. So that would make him my cousin-in-law??

On my mother's side, apparently the family tree has been traced back all the way to William the Conqueror.

On my dad's side, my last name appears in President Bush's family tree, like 200 years ago. :shrugs:

I know more about the family trees of my snakes (and also find them more interesting) than my own. :grin01:
