Axe'!
Well, I got an adult sunglow corn, and he was looking pretty rough there for a few days. However, he has settled in and seems a bit happier. He's about to shed, and has poo'd a few times (turns out he doesn't like being held too much...), and aside from this nagging cough he's got, he's doing well. We're taking a little trip to the vet in a few days, and see what's up with his cough.
Speaking of him not liking to be held much, I've heard a lot of talk about not putting the snake down if he poo's on you. So, what do you do? Sit there covered in crap for another 15 minutes?
Also, I got an email from Rich Z today saying my new motley hatchlings are ready to be shipped! I should get them in a little more than a week. I can't wait! I was having a moment of weakness, and considered adding another few snakes to my order, but I'm glad it's all set in stone now. I've got a whole year now to save up for more :grin01:
Oh, on another note, is it safe to have a snake with a possible respirtory infection in the same room with a few hatchlings? I know, this seems like one of those "duh" questions, but its not like they're right next to each other or anything. What is a safe distance?
