There was another thread like this one and besides Homersimpson, there were several other people who use excell spreadsheets to record. I just use a notepad to keep track. I write in when they were fed, how much, if they fed right away, when they shed etc. Every month or so I measure them using the serpwidget snake measurer program that I got on here. I also recorded when I bought them, from whom and how much I paid.

Sounds like the purpose of her post was to inform people that you, Homersimpson, and others, use excel spreadsheets to keep records of their snakes activities. It sounds like you were offended for some reason. Not sure why. I too use an excel spreadsheet. I also keep records on 3x5 cards. I have to make 2 entries, but I like the backup in case I lose an excel file, or the 3x5 card.

No offense Homer....I was just letting them know that there are loads of different spreadsheets to look at on that other thread if they want different ideas. I wasn't making any comments for or against. Your spreadsheet was great. I looked at all of the ones that everyone posted. I'm just too lazy to transfer all the info I have in my notebooks to a spreadsheet at this point. Sorry if I made it sound like I was turning them off your sheet.

i have a large yearly calender to where the days in the months are all stretched out into a straight line and it gives a nice sizable box to be descriptive in. although my poster calender is at work but it works well for me because the guys at work are always asking about it and such . i usually take MR LEE up to work 1 a month so they can watch him feed as well .
