Regurg or Poo?

Hi everyone! Long time no see. Things have been crazy since getting a new job so I haven't been on.

So my little corn did something today while I was out in the other room so I wasn't there to witness it. I think he threw up his meal from Thursday but I'm not sure. Since this is my first snake I figured I'd come here and ask for opinions and advice.

I fed him Thursday evening, the next day he went blue. His eyes are "clear" now but he hasn't shed yet, I'm still waiting for that. But when I came into my room this afternoon to check on him I noticed this lovely deposit in the corner. Is this regurg or poo? I just upped his mouse size to hopper two weeks ago and last week he was fine.

It doesn't look like any poo I've seen from him, but I thought I'd check. If he did regurg what are the steps I should take to ensure it doesn't happen again? He seems fine otherwise. I just quickly popped the lid off to clean it out and he was slithering around, investigating the scooper (since I don't normally clean the cage with him in there) and then went to hide under one of his logs.

Thank you!

Never had a regurge that didn't have something in it that used to resemble some former part of a rodent, even in some distant form, but I guess there's a point in the digestive process when the line between regurge & other waste would be blurry. As an objective side note: YUCK-ee-Poooo! NOT a visual I want to go to bed tonight - or dinner, EVER! - with!

But From Thursday till the time stated that the sneaky one deposited this substance, I'm also voting that it's doo-doo, in its most evolved and developed form!

Just sayin (as I reach for the bicarbonate of soda).

Oh heck! Now you've got me smelling it in my mind.

I sometimes wonder if it smells so awful as a way for Mother Nature to teach the sneaky ones to steer clear of it! But if that's true, then why do some pet snakes seem to not mind it at all?

But if I think about it a little harder, I wonder if there's not something ELSE we can be thinking and talking about?
