Regurge after 4 days?

Alright well my little guy regured for the first time today. I am fairly worried although I think all will be well I was surprised that it was after 4 days when normally its only supposed to take 3. Also there was none of the foul rotting smell that is usually associated with a regurge the shape was just wrong for poo and the tail still appeared to be there. I believe the issue is with temp although the substrate temp warm side stays around 80 during the day dropping to 75ish at night. I am thinking this is likely the cause and before his next feed the issue should be remedied. Just wanted to touch base here to make sure I am not missing something.

Sometimes they can pass food that looks like a regurge but was passed out like pooh...
Has he just moved on to slightly bigger prey? From pinks to fuzzies perhaps?

That said, not all regurges happen on the 3rd day, some do happen on day 4 after feeding. Some even sooner!

Don't forget not to feed the critter in question for at least 10 days after the regurge (if it is a regurge) to give his stomach acids a chance to build up again.

I agree that the heat needs to be fixed. After that, keep him on his normal feed schedule. I would also suggest that after the feeding you do not handle him until his following feeding. The regurge can create stress (and be a sign of stress) and handling can increase that.

Any idea on why there was no smell as everything I have heard that is the most common way people figure things out

Are you sure you found it the day it happened? I had one questionable one, but it was dry when I found it. It had that vague reddish tint, like I'd expect, and had a tail-looking thing...Were white urates completely missing, and the whole thing was basically one color?

My snakes that eat big hoppers put out some pretty hairy poos- if I didn't see urates I would be worried.

Did it smell like anything? Poo?

I am sure it happened sometime in the night I found it at around 5:30ish when I was getting ready for work. It was in the open under one hide but I had checked under the hide yesterday. There was a few poos around it as well but there was this thing as well. Just weird. I think I am just going to treat it like a Regurge as I don't think it will cause him any harm.

That's what I did with the one I wasn't sure about. Do you have Nutribac from Kathy?

It doesn't hurt to have it around if you need it. I have a chronic regurger, Maizey. I put a dab on the tail of every mouse he eats, and that way I know he has the right flora in his digestive system. (I also use probiotics on birds and my dragon when the need arises...)
