Regurging

I have read regurge protocol etc... And no, I haven't had it happen ****ahhh touch wood*** But I was wondering... what does snake vomit look like just in case it does? I haven't got a clue what it LOOKS like, I read a few posts but I dont get it, is it actually a whole mouse or a ball of fur or what? Just for future reference. Thank-you!

It's look will vary depending on how long it was in the snake's belly before it was regurged. It's very different than poo, it's light colored, has no urates with it, and it is most recognizable by it's horrible smell.

I've heard it described as smelling like death. Trust me if it happens, you will know.

EDIT: And so will your housemates and neighbors ;)

My smallest hatchling that I purchased regurged a pinkie mouse after 5 days and it looked like a mini pale raw pork sausage link.

It did not look at all like a poop, in no way shape or form could it have been mistaken for a poop.
