I think my corn regurgitated in his water bowl not long after he ate his piniky. Bad thing? and why.... ?

@4x4babe-My baby corn regurged on the Nov 21st, It can be very serious. I followed the regurge protocol along with all the advise of others here and he is doing better. Follow the directions to the letter and he should be ok.

Good Luck and keep us updated please.

If it's in the water bowl, are you sure it's a regurge and not just last feedings excrement?

It dries in to nearly nothing as it's 90% water weight. But if you use paper towels for a substrate, you'll find it! That's one of the reasons I wait until they are on fuzzies to move them onto aspen. If it was solid, it's a regurge, not fecal matter. Snake poop usually looks a lot like bird poop.

(talk text) So, my dale that I thought had regurgitated two days ago got out last night. Ive turned this place upside down, and now freakin! I think that mouse gave him super powers BC he lifted the lid with a book on top. Ive set traps(ideas from this site). I got these two corns a few weeks ago from a guy that kept them together, well 2 days ago I separated them, and last night one escaped, and the other hasn't moved an inch out of his hide. are we sure they do not prefer to be together? before I separated them they did not try to escape, before I didn't even put books on the top,so if they wanted to they could have escaped a long time ago.

They escape because there is a way out, not because they want company, that much I can assure you. If they both were in a cage they could escape from, both would at some point. Every time.

It was dark colored, with some off white-ish slime around it. (it was in his water bowl) it was very difficult to rinse out BC it was so slimey. Snake poop white or does it have color?

There is urea that is eliminated in feces too, which can be white to clear yellowish. If it was solid, it was a regurge, if not, probably not. Next time take a photo and we can probably tell you with more certainty than a description. Though it seems you have more pressing matters at the moment...

Still good to know since I have another one still left in my care. Thanks

Window sills, vents, dressers... just about anywhere warm and or enclosed. Remember, they love to hide and are hardwired to find proper temps. Good luck finding him. Sure others can give proper advice on baiting him. I have no experience with escapees except other peoples stories, and by that right he'll show up on your kitchen counter in a few days, lol.
