I just got another corn snake, brought it home, left it in it's cage for a few days then offered it a pinkie, and she ate it.....well today (which would've been 3 days after the first one, she started eating it and half way down she stopped and was just layin there with the pinkie half in her mouth....so I moved the rock she was laying a couple inches from and she spit it back outl What do I do/or when should I offer her another pinkie?....do u think it might be the size of the pinkie (i don't think so) or she is still skidish from the move to her tank, and when I moved her rock she puked it up???? Any suggestions?

If it was still just in her mouth & she was working on swallowing it, she spit it out because you startled her & she was trying to get ready to run away if you were a predator. It's hard to slither rapidly with a full mouth, after all! That's not really regurgitation, it's more like you took a really big bite of food & then someone attacked you & you spit it out so you could run away faster.
If it was all the way inside of her & then it came back up, that's regurgitation, and that's not good.
I think she is just skittish from the new environment. I also think feeding every 3 days is probably a little too often, most of the experts here feed every 5 days. So I would leave her alone for 5 days, then offer her another pink. She should be good & hungry then. And don't mess with her rock while she is swallowing.

I agree sounds more like she was getting ready to run and dropped the food rather than hacked it back up from her belly. Next time just leave her totally alone, she will move how she needs to to get the food to her belly.
I feed all my snakes in a little 5-gallon feeding tank, and one of my male amels won't eat unless there is a towel thrown over the tank for privacy. A few times, I've lifted the towel to check on him and he wasn't done yet. If the mouse was more than halfway down, he just stopped and glared at me until I dropped the towel again. If it was still mostly in his mouth, he spit it out.

I just know that I lost my last corn (penelope) due to the lack of knowledge of me, but also the lack of knowledge of Petland.....they don't know when the snake last ate, because when I got my last one the told me to wait ten days and I gave her a pink the very day I put her in the cage and she attacked it.....I also have read up on the whole cool and warm side they need and have gotten the right lighting, according to the Exo Terra Reptile lighting book....I love my corn and I know that it is important on how to handle them but I read on the back of the pinky box, b/c I didn't go to my usual store, and it said not to handle snake 3 days prior or after they eat....I understand the whole 3 days after I guess, but why wouldn't I be able to handle her 3 days b4?....She is skiddish and the way I see to tame her is to work with her....her name is Jewles by the way....could anyone maybe direct me to a web page or link, maybe even on this site that can pretty much give me good basic knowlege for them....I get so tired of reading what's good for them one place and then another saying something else.....Thanx u all for all the help, I really appreciate it, I don't want to let Jewels down like I did Penelope!!!RIP

You can handle any time before they get fed as long as you wait at least 48 hours post feed. For example. Say I feed mine on Saturday. I do not handle until Wednesday morning at the earliest. I feed in the evenings, so morning would be ok on the third day. Some snakes may need more time than just the 2 full days before being handled, some are fine in 36 hrs. You just need to get to know your pet and until you do do not handle for 3 days AFTER feeding, blah on the prior or you would never handle a baby!
