Well she's GREAT. She laid 11 eggs today:)
They're being incubated in a mix of perlite (perilite? don't know how to spell it..) and peat moss.
And one other thing, she's really like..exhausted and jittery right now, that's normal right? Should we keep the male separated from her for a few more days so that she can settle down a bit? I'm so happy!
 
Yes separate keeping is recommanded......in fact I would recommand in doing this even after she recovers from the egg laying.

Feed her a smaller food item as before, since too large of a meal would make it hard for her weak body to digest right now. I would say at least let her gain back the weight that she originally had before, before putting them back together if you have to.

If you put them back in now, the male might want to breed again and she might have eggs again but then this time will cause death since she is already so skinny and tired after laying the eggs.

I'm so excited! if I remember tobring my camera I'll take a picture and post it here. The eggs seem kind of small but I don't know cuz I've never seen corn eggs before. It was so weird to touch them!! I love this it's so fun hehe
