Reptile Expo = New Snake

Becca

Eternally Confused
Well....I told myself that if I went to the reptile expo in Salt Lake City today, I would NOT come home with a new snake. Apparently, I do not listen to myself well. Bad self! Bad! So...with the scolding out of the way, here is my newest little addition. He's a Ghost Motley that I have named Eros, because he's quite the ladies man already. I snapped a few quick pictures before I settled him into his new home. Now for the agony of giving him time to settle in. :D

Thanks guys! I'm loving him already. He's all settled in and enjoying his new coconut hide. :D

Nice pick up! Love the name.. just read the Enders Game series, and one of the main planets/ stations referenced throughout many of the books is named Eros. It's such a pretty word. (I guess those greeks knew what they were talking about.. )

Awesome coloring too on this little guy! I really like the subtlety of his saddle colors. One last comment that I can never resist staying.. I love "C" head patterns!!

I think you did right by picking him up. ;)

Thank you so much, everyone! I really appreciate the compliments. :) I'm so so so glad that I got him.

I love that shade of brown and eggshell on him. Will he retain that color when he grows into an adult? I know that some of these morphs look entirely different when they are full grown.

Are there any other morphs that have that color combo when they're an adult? I'm considering a corn snake and i just love that color combo :)
