resealing an aquarium

I just acquired three 55 gal tanks this weekend that I plan to use for my corns when they get bigger, which won't be for quite some time. They all could stand to be resealed. What type of silicone sealant can I safely use? Do I have to use aquarium sealant or would any type of bathroom silicone work? The snakes won't have access to these for many months so airing them out won't be a problem at all, I just need to know what is safe or what should be avoided.

Thanks!

The aquarium sealant stuff is the same as any clear silicone sealant you can buy, except much more expensive. Just make sure it's cured properly before using (but sounds like that won't be a problem with your plans!) Use and cure in a well-ventilated area, the fumes are awful, like really strong vinegar

Just make sure you don't get the silicone sealant with the anti-fungicide (sp?) in it, like the type used in bathrooms, as I've heard it can be harmful to reptiles :shrugs:
