restless female all of a sudden

Hey guys,
im prety sure my female is gravid and she has just had what i expect to be her pre lay shed a couple of days ago. I put her lay box in there and took out her waterbowl and since then she has been all nice and snug in the moss in her lay box. however today she has come out all of a sudden and is circling her tub acting very restless. I was thought she may be looking for water but i have been spraying her everyday so she can drink that way.
i know females can become restless before laying looking for a place to lay, but seeing as she was already in her lay box i dont see what the search ison for if that is the case.
she has been off her food since just before going into shed, she cant be hungry can she?
does this sound like normal behaviour?

It is a normal behavior. When my girls go "crazy" I know it is going to be any day now. So YAY for you!

Put a very small dish of water in with her just in case. Something so small that she can't possibly sit in it, but can drink if she needs to. Laying seems to make them very dehydrated and not all of them will drink from misting drops.

Yup sounds like she is going to lay. My girl pushed all the stuff in the laybox to one side and was circling around herself contracting her muscles a few hours before she started to lay her eggs.

ok so its 9.45 now and i have just got back in from going to the cinema. she has settled down but she isn't in her lay box at the mo she burrowed in the aspen underneath her usual hide.
im not going to check on her again tonight i will wait to see if there are any surprises for me in the morning to let her chill out for a bit.

My Shade did that. I worried she was going to lay in the aspen or in a hide rather than in her box but she finally went back to her box and had her eggs there. Just check now and then so that if she is a nut and has them outside the laybox you find them quickly. Good luck!

it's not a big deal if they lay them in the aspen. you'll find them within like, 12 hours anyways and move them to the incubator, so it'll be fine. i think it's only a big deal when they aren't found for a couple of days.

hey guys! still no eggs as of yet! she keeps switching back and forth between her lay box and her hide but she isnt searching around her tub anymore
