Ridge along the side of my snake

So recently I noticed there's a kind of ridge between the top of my corn and his belly muscles, I was wondering if this is normal or if it means he's underweight or overweight.

I think it could just be muscle tone or even the way he's moving but see what others say [emoji4]

It's either just a ridge of muscle or an area of tendon. Need to find better guides to snake musculature. Either way, it's completely normal.

You can see that it's actually present along the entire length of the snake in these photos of Galena and Hematite.

It's part of what makes that classic bread loaf shape, and generally speaking indicates good weight. :)
