Stage and screen actor James MacArthur, who played "Danno" in the original version of television's "Hawaii Five-0," died Thursday at age 72.

Kind of surreal to hear his age.
 
I saw this today. I will miss him. I love watching the re-runs of the orginal. Can't say I'm ever going to watch the new one. There is only one Hawaii Five-O.

I did not know this. I will always remember him as young and boyish, I suppose.

I did know he was the adopted son of Helen Hayes.
