Found crossing a road. He had been hit, but it doesn't seem to have done any damage.. fingers crossed! Its been a couple weeks now, so hopefully we're in the clear at this point. He has good strength and is active, so that's a good sign!

glad it's doing well, nice looking wild caught corn-I like the gradient in color from like to darker along its body

He has gorgeous color! What part of his body was hit? He looks totally normal. Are you going to keep him?

Thanks everyone! It looked like his head/neck area was ran over because he was in shed at the time and the skin on that spot was torn off. His head appeared to have very minor misshapen on the left side and there was a tiny bit of blood in his mouth. Also there was noticeable swelling on the underside of his lower jaws. I thought there was some damage to his eye, but it must have been the just the eyecap, because after he shed, the eye looked normal. I've examined his mouth and everything looks good. The swelling is gone and I haven't seen anymore blood. He moves normal, has good strength and doesn't seem to have any broken ribs that I can tell. Still hasn't eaten, but I'm not expecting him to right away. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully nothing is going on internally that I can't see.
