These are my the names of my two corn snakes. We live in the hamptons in Long Island New York. Where should I buy 50 or 100 fuzies ? It is not cost effective to buy them 4 at a time from the local pet shops ?
If you can find a reptile show in your area, they're cheaper than even online orders. In my experience. $17.50 for a bag of 50 pinkies. That's 35 cents each, but you don't have to pay for shipping.
Pinkies are only .16 cents online so if you need a lot, online is the way to go. $10-12 for a box at the petstore is insane! Of course, yes, there is shipping online so the more you buy , the more it's worth the $$ you can save. I'm not sure how long frozen mice are ok in the freezer, hopefully at least 6 months.
You guys need to go to American Rodent Supply. It's in Indianapolis, and you don't have to pay that ridiculous amount of money to ship dry ice. You end up paying more for shipping than for the damn feeders! I payed $20 for a bag of 50 pinkies...and $30 for a bag of large adult mice. A little more, but that's because I don't buy in bulk. If you spend over $100 then you get the internet prices...basically half what I payed.
I don't know why I thought they were in Noblesville lol... If you're going to a show to get something other than food. It's a steal. But, going there to BUY food, the entrance fee will put you over online ordering. It's like a dance to find the best deal.
