Room heating

I have a question. All of my snakes are housed in one room where there is no AC to cool it down. My question is how can I raise the temperature of the room without spending a lot of money? The Flexwatt heat tape is just too expensive for me right now. I have 3 vision cages and a snake rack in this room. Any suggestions or questions would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a little space heater at Walmart for less than $50 I believe. Not sure how big the room is, but it could help.

It's a small bedroom. The vision cages all have good temps. It's the other shoe box cages that don't. I need to get the room temp up more then what it is. I'm heading out to get a thermostat for the room and maybe a humidity gage. I'll see what Wal-mart has too. Thanks.

You could always go to your local hardware store and get some plumbers heat tape...Plumbers use it for water lines that can get frozen during the winter...It's cheaper then flexwatt and works just as good as long as you hook it up to a rheostat or thermometer...

I'm actually going to try the room heater route first and see how that works. Then I'll go from there. Thanks everyone.
