Due to the hurricane devastating my home and reptile building I will not be operating for a while. My power will not be restored for probably 1 or 2 months. If we had arrangements for pick up in Daytona or if we were doing trades I am still going through with our deals. They are just delayed. Right now I am using a freinds lap top. If you E- Mail me I will not receive it. Most of my animals were recovered. I would also like to thank the following people for their help and support... Jim Keenan, Serpwidgets, Hurley, Ron Reeves, John Schmitt, Tim Thomas, Lee Abbott, Billy and his wife, Steve Cox, Alec Estabrook, Joe and Theresa Faucy, Dave and family from Silver City, Sandy Shields, Jeff Pounds, Jeff Meyers, Tim Benson, Walter Smith, Kathy Love, Don Soderberg, Richard Sullivan, Jacki and Greg Graziani, Ray (from Glades), A HUGE THANKS to Dee and Donny for cutting through trees and clearing roads literaly minutes after the storm, to get to my house to wade in a foot of water in the pouring rain from midnight till 4 a.m. with only flashlights, in the mosquito infested darkness trying to collect all the animals that got loose. In no way will I ever be able to repay them for that. Thank you to all whom I might have forgotten to mention. Believe me, I thank you!
As soon as I am up and running again (with power) I promise I will contact you if we had previous deals. Thank you, and I can't wait to start selling reptiles again.

I just heard about your misfortune a couple of days ago. It made my heart break for you and your family. I am SO glad to hear that you recovered most of your beautiful snakes. I know how devastated I'd be if I had to go through that, and I only have a few snakes in comparison to you.

We've been buying animals from you for years and they are among the prettiest and largest snakes we own. Breeders like you are rare in the industry.

Keeping snakes is a hobby for most snake lovers, but a passionate one. When you lose a stamp collection you've worked on for years, it's bad, but nothing like losing animals you fall in love with. I can't imagine how heart breaking and inconvenient it is to be in your situation right now so please let us know if there's anything we can do to help. Let me know when your cages are back up and running and we'll get back to that trade we planned. I've got your name on those snakes if you decide you can still use them.

When we got back from Daytona Beach, Connie and I dragged out our spare generators and made sure they were working in case Jim Keenan needed one. He apparently got one locally, so doesn't need one now. If you need a 4,000 watt generator on loan, let me know (the 5,000 watt unit is idling a little roughly). But I would imagine Jim has already run that option by you by now.

Thanks for all your help and concern. It's good to know that there are so many caring people in this industry. I can't get to a computer very often, but when I do I usually come here first. They are saying that power will be restored sooner than they planned, so hopefully I'll be able to run my computer again, soon. Thanks again for being there.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss to both real estate and animals. I was wondering how you Floridians who are into the corn snake hobby fared during the hurricane.

I'd like to help you if I could. I've already donated a box full of food that was being sent down to Florida to help people in need, but most people don't think of pets or stuff like that.

If you need anything: feeders, spare Sterilites, paper towel, bedding, or if you need a place for animals to stay till you get back on your feet I'm willing to help you and any one else you know that needs help.
