"Quality Before Quantity"
Hey Everyone,
Me and PJ have been trying to breed for our first time and have been waiting patiently now for 2 months. . We saw mating, She plumped up like the goodyear blimp.....then...nothing. . Let them hook-up again and now the waiting game is on again..ding ding, round two. Needless to say I'm not being very patient about this. So I get home from work this evening and what does my 14 year old daughter hit me with.........."DAD, look I think my gecko laid an egg." Sure enough there was a nice plump silky gecko egg. :bang: Here we are trying everything we can to be first time breeders and my daughters and her 2 Leopard Geckos beat us to the punch... :crazy02: ..Just thought we would share so you could all have a laugh on us..HA HA!!! :angry01: Naw..thats cool..we at least have some eggs to put in the incubator...go figure... :shrugs: ..Now what is all this talk in this forum about some guy named MURPHY?....lololol

I feel your pain. I've bred leopard geckos, bearded dragons and crested geckos...no problem, put them together, put the eggs in the incubator, all hatch into cute little hatchlings.

Be glad yours are at least breeding. My first attempts are discouraging. She ignores him; he ignores her. Although he did refuse dinner tonight, which he's never done..... (Is there a fingers crossed smiley?)

We want corn babies...not gecko babies. Somehow I think the good people on the Corn Forum will know the difference if I tried to pass off geckos as corns... :crazy01:
Just never thought it would be a gecko egg first but oh well. I bet I will be flipping later when all my females are laying at once... :crazy02:

nah just tell them you've discovered a new morph...the first legged cornsnake!

but that does kinda suck, you're working so hard to get baby corns...and you dont even try with the geckos and guess what? the geckos are the ones reproducing...never fails you know?
