safely upgrade viv size for corn?

Hi guys, i'm new to the forums and just looking for some advice

I have a 12 month old corn whos about 26-28 inches long, hes currently in his starter viv (6x12x18) with a few hides, plenty of foilage etc. as of late he seems to be enjoying climbing his vines alot more and seems annoyed at the lack of space and places to explore, i've had him since he was 11 weeks old.

I have a viv waiting for him as an upgrade but unsure if he is going to be too small for it and dont want to overwhelm him as he's sill only small and stress him out even more. He's a reasonably active snake and loves hiding in his vines etc spends more time in them than in his hides.

The upgraded viv is 2foot x 1 foot and 12/14 inches high i believe (dont have it to hand to measure as in storage) is he going to be stressed if i move him to a viv this big?

Thanks

No. He should do fine. Just keep it 'cluttered' with lots of hides and fake foliage and he should do well. Do give him a week to settle in to the new cage before you do anything with him though. He'll probably hide for the first few days before setting out to explore his new territory.

fabulous thanks ill make sure i have more items to really make him feel safe and secure before moving him x thanks
