I have not heard anything about VV yet.. I went looking onlinre and could not find any resources confirming a show there yet.. I am hoping maybe some of the people that go to the Del Mar show can ask around to find out..

Well, I will be sure to ask! If I get any information, I'll be sure to post it here. =)

This weekend !! Sat and Sunday April 8 and 9.. I am really considering it for tommorow..

Well we just got back and it was pretty disappointing for the $$
the only thing that was slightly interesting to me was Steve Little had a blood that he thought was the best blood every but was very orange
and he said came from Pied back ground and she did have some white coming up her sides but I do not know enuf about pieds to spend the gas bill on a snake
he also had a sub adult blood that had some white speckels in her borders that was kinda interesting but it was not for sale

disappointed here too... it was a long drive... and coming was home was longer because the traffic in two spots dropped to 20mph...

Was it just "too early" as far as breeders having snakes? I went looking for corns, there were a couple beautiful ones that i liked, but as a "pet" for now, was just a little too pricey for me.

Any one else go and think it was better?... I think the next one (not sure of date) is in Pomona, and at least that won't be a 135 mile drive one way from me :)

The show was lame! There weren't a lot of corns to see, and what was there wasn't anything special. There was one (T-positive I think he called it) that was gorgeous, but it was $150 and a little out of my price range. There was also some interesting corn crosses I had never seen before. They were really yellow and looked like a corn, but he didn't know what it had been crossed with. Oh...and I got bit for my first time! I knew it would happen eventually and I was really nervous about it, but it was NOTHING! It made me laugh afterwards. That was the most exciting thing about the show for me!

I saw the same corn snakes... again, just being into snakes at this time for pets and because I like the colors... I didn't know what T pos meant, it was a beautiful corn, but as KornKrazyKrissi said, just too expensive at this time.

I don't even know if i can describe the color... it was brownish and cream, no reds, no yellow... I'm used to hearing terms like amel, anery, ghost, etc... T-pos didn't mean anything to me. ... anyone?

We drove a long way too and it was still fun...shoot, bad day at a reptile show is still better than a good day at the office. =)

I was looking for sunglow/sunglow motleys and didn't see any, but I did see the guy (Jonathan) from LLL who sold me my BCC - the LLL table was SWAMPED, hehe!

Got to hold an adult rosy boa, which was cool - I didn't know they got that big, haven only see babies in person. I thought the differences in Cal Kings were cool, but they don't really float my boat. Happened to be near one table where someone was handling a baby mexican black king - they are even neater in person.

And it was cool to see a woma python in person, as well as a spider morph bp.

We were only there a bit, but I still enjoyed it. My guess is it's too early for many 06 babies...however I was surprised that there weren't more baby bci/bcc since I know litters are dropping for many breeders already.

Oh, no one knew anything about a Victorville show that I talked to...but I may not have asked the right folks...

My best understanding is that Victorville is a no go. Apparently the promoter didn't make enough money for the last few years and the show has been scrubbed for the time being.. Looks like maybe Pomona.. :shrugs:

For the people that were there.. Does this look familiar? Hard to really describe it other than it sort of looks like a ghost, but not really in r/l..

We were about to buy him.. had him in hand and everything.. when John said we didn't need him.. ugg.. now I have since gone over what genes we still need in our collection... I can not believe we left that show w/o a snake.. we only went for one day at that! Never again.. I thought I'd be happy we stuck to our guns and didn't buy anything.. now I'm just jealous and sad that I have no new babies to be excited over :( He was about to be mine..
