Actually, Due to the head pattern, and some of the pattern I am tempted to say it might very well be an IJ x Jungle cross, Sadly ALOT of people mix locales just because they have male and female and want cute little babies..

either way BEAUTIFUL snake, you will not be sorry for picking a carpet, they are my favorite by far, I have pretty much cleared out all other species and keep only carpets now, and I have never looked back since!

We were wondering if there was any crossing TBH....Thats why I sent him the links.....Let the experts decide...LOL
It is a stunning little snake though...And your right he won't look back....

Well I asked the people at one of the forums you suggested snakewispera snr, and they all think IJ too.
Thanks for spotting that for me, I didn't have a clue. :D

IJ's are stunning snakes to own.....you won't be sorry it was mis-labled.......I hope you enjoy it as much as I think you will.....

IJ's Stay smaller, and are more calm in general anyways, so for a first carpet you will not be upset! but nothing screams carpet like a big 8 foot pissed off female jungle ;)

Thanks everyone for commenting. He is lovely.
I have some more pictures of him when he spent the night in his water bowl. :D

Careful what you use for mites.... Frontline can be a no-no with babies........Try Hydroaspis miles..... Defender mites....Excellent for an organic mite destroyer....
