(I havn't really posted here in a long time, but here is my new addition)

His name is Homer and he is a Jungle Carpet Python.
Leave feedback and comments if you like.

He has bitten my once, but he hasn't gone for me since. Here is my arm after he bit me.

Actually, Due to the head pattern, and some of the pattern I am tempted to say it might very well be an IJ x Jungle cross, Sadly ALOT of people mix locales just because they have male and female and want cute little babies..

either way BEAUTIFUL snake, you will not be sorry for picking a carpet, they are my favorite by far, I have pretty much cleared out all other species and keep only carpets now, and I have never looked back since!

Well I asked the people at one of the forums you suggested snakewispera snr, and they all think IJ too.

IJ's Stay smaller, and are more calm in general anyways, so for a first carpet you will not be upset! but nothing screams carpet like a big 8 foot pissed off female jungle

Not at the moment. He is having abit of a mite problem unfortunately.
So he only has newspaper and his water bowl in there until they are all dead.

But he will have when its re-set-up again.

Careful what you use for mites.... Frontline can be a no-no with babies........Try Hydroaspis miles..... Defender mites....Excellent for an organic mite destroyer....

Are they american products, because I have not heard of them.
I am currently using 'Mite off' by Zoo med.
