Scale?

I picked mine up at WalMart... kitchen area... it was the one with the digital reading that read in grams. It wasn't that expensive, but it wasn't the cheapest one.... I think I paid $30 for it.
 
ooh good to know... I thought I was going to have to go to some special herp store or something....$30 seems a bit much for me but if it is the only one then it may have to do. I will shop around later and check them out now that I know I can get them locally and they aren't a specialty product.
 
Lots of nice cheap scales on Ebay, just make sure whatever you get is accurate to at least 1 gram. The first ione I got was a postal scale that only went to the nearest 5g. Fine for packages but not so great for weighing small corn snakes or frozen mice.

as far as buying a scale off of ebay or anyways else for that matter, does it have to be a food scale or can it be like a small pocket jewelry scale as long as it weighs in grams?

Really that depends on the increments the scale can weigh and whether you can use it to measure both food items and adult snakes. :)
