Hello. I will soon be moving my corn out of his Reptarium and into my 40gal high aquarium (the turtle is moving out). And Im in need of a screen top. Has anyone ever used these? http://www.herpsupplies.com/product.cfm?id=SOA82005 Good or bad thoughts? It seems very secure, which I like. I want a top that I can open one side or another and not have to take the whole thing off, but I cant seem to find anything else for the size I need. Its a little more expensive, but I figured after the top and the clips to hold it on, it would be about the same.
 
They make hinged screen tops. If you get a couple of cage clips to hold the top on, it is very secure. I will find one and post a link for you.
 
does hook and loop tape mean velcro???

I'd be a little wary of how sticky the velcro was, and how well I closed it every time to prevent escapees....
other than that, I think it looks fine.

Just be careful- I bet a good sized snake would have the strength to undo some velcro if it tried hard enough....
 
Ive seen the hinged tops, but I need a 36"x12" one. And Im having trouble finding it. I found one but only one side opens up.
 
Thanks for the help but I cant use those either. The first one is the one that only opens from one side, which would work, as long as Chex was on the right side, lol. And I cant use the other because My tank has a center support at the top.
