Seems the hateling may be worth more than I thought...

It piss me so bad.
So I just found out today, with the help of Jessica, that my horrible little fire may have some hidden hets that will work out nicely with my plans.

She is 66% het lavender and caramel! I don't much care about the caramel, but I'm really hoping the lavender het proves out. Now I can't wait till 2012!

Lol yeah maybe that's what I was leaning towards...
They're pretty much my favorite morph, so I'm really looking forward to producing one of my own.

Yeah they are awfully pretty. And producing one will be so exciting! I can't tell you how anxious i am to begin breeding snakes. >w<

I sure hope that the lavender does prove out for you!! =D It would be so exciting! Omg!! :D :D :D

You stop calling that precious little baby horrible right now! She's adorable!!! But if you don't like her, I can find a good home for her! In Florida! Where she won't bother you any more!!

Thank you!

Lol, I really do love her, Nanci, but thanks for the offer ;D. She's just got the worst attitude of any hatchling I've ever met. She's sort of getting better though. We're doing holding sessions, but even if she so much as hears the tiniest noise, she's going to strike.

I have a new theory which I am testing out. I am hoping that hatelings that strike and bite, but don't triangle their heads, will eventually tame down.

I have Exhibit A, Ruby. She was born with a triangle head, and very rarely relaxes it! My friends predicted that because of how I handle my snakes, she would tame down with time. Wrong! I still have a high chance of getting bitten every time I handle her.

Exhibit B, Draco. He's a 2009. Likes to bite as many times as possible, and musk, too! I am not putting any more time into handling him, yet, than I did with Ruby as a baby. I have noticed, however, that he never triangle-heads. I'm hoping this is a sign! I'll find out when he's older and I handle him more. So far, those are my only two bitey corns!
