You can determine the sex of male and female mice by looking at the distance from the anus to the genital papilla. Here's a picture that may help you out.

The picture should help, but also compare your mice to each other. Checking this distance is the best way to sex mice. Although the females have nipples, it's sometimes hard to see the nipples through the hair. In sexually mature males, the scrotum is prominent and can be seen when they are running around.
