shed issue

Trinity

You Savvy?
My darling Savanna has not shed in the past 2 months. I spray every day and when she didn't shed the first month I added a humidifyer in my room to maintain a little more moisture in the air. She's about 1' 11'' in length, about dime size in girth and I have no idea on age. How concerned should I be?

Has she been eating regularly? Does the skin appear dried out or flaky like she tried to shed? I'm guessing it doesn't or you would mentioned.

My snow used to shed monthly and then suddenly went closer to 7 weeks even after moving up mouse sizes. I also have a hatchling that went a little over two months between sheds. She is a slow grower and thus probably why she took so long.
If she seems in good health I don't think there is a need to panic yet. A little more info might help a bit.

The humidity should be around 40-50%. What is yours reading?
You shouldn't mist everday, that's just as bad.
And what are you feeding you 23 inch snake?. Sound skinny.

I wouldn't worry to much, as corns grow older so does the time in between sheds. Most average about 5-6 the first year and after that it drops to maybe 3-4. I've never heard of any dieses that would cause such a condition. I've had my corns for almost 5 years now and have never really kept an eye on it, it's a natural process and they will enter it either when trying to speed up recovery from say a burn or bite ( under normal conditions this shouldn't happen). Just keep an eye on it and if it's still worrying u just keep an eye on her stools, mouth for moth rot or parasites and for any sneezing which indicates respiratory dieses these symptoms would be something to worry about.

I think your corn should be fine though:). I've never heard of any cases where a snake has died from not shedding or delayed going into shed.

she is eating regularly, a fuzzie a week and hasn't regurged in the past 6 months. She's active, I pick her up every 2-3 days. I just haven't seen her eyes go blue and she doesn't have any cuts or flaky scales. I will wait another month and if not, is there a shed aid you recommend?

Nagini went 3 months before her last shed. Mind you it wasnt the best and I ended up having to help her out at the end of it.
