Shed Skin - Missing?!

So my corn shed the other day and for the first time it didnt come off all in one piece. I checked my husbandry and my humidity was a bit off (explaining the shed coming off in pieces) but I have since adjusted some things and it has returned to normal. But that's not the issue here.
I removed the skin from the tank after she was done, but about half of the skin is missing.

I have already checked the ENTIRE tank. I took out every hide/plant/dish and thoroughly checked each object, and I then went through the substrate handful by handful. She didn't appear to have any skin stuck to her. I put her in some lukewarm water to soak just in case there was anything stuck to her, but after a good 20-30mins of soaking there were still no signs of skin stuck to her.

I think I've basically ruled out the possibilities of the shed still being stuck to her or hidden in her tank somewhere.

Does anybody have ANY clue what may be going on here?
She couldn't possibly have eaten it, could she?!
Am I just over-reacting? Or should I be genuinely concerned?!

It could be rolled up in a little ball, stuck in a hide, stuck on the bottom of the tank, all sorts of things. If it came off in pieces it is possible you already got them all. I highly doubt she would have eaten the shed skin.

Ahh! The ball thing is possible maybe. I kept an eye out for small chunks but didn't notice any small balls. It would have to be a tiny ball, though, and I think there was too much skin for it to be rolled up small enough for me to miss. I went through it preeeetty thoroughly. I highly doubt that she ate it as well, but I mean I'm sure stranger thongs have happened lol. I won't worry too much about it unless she starts acting strange or if something goes amuck with her next shed.

As long as the shed is off, and there is no tail tip or eye caps still on, then there are no worries :) I mean, if there are still pieces in the vive, you will get them when you do your monthly - or however long - cleaning of the tank and decor. Whether you actually see them or not is trivial at that point, I think.

Yeah this is true lol. In my panicked state I didnt really think of the fact that if it's that small it really doesnt even pose a risk to her hahah. Just freaked me out is all. First time it's came off in pieces and then I can't find half of it haha

Ive found my guys sheds in the weirdest places, sometimes I had to remove hides to find it. My Python seems to shed in the same spot every time.

You'd be surprised how small a "shed ball" is!
My six foot boa does it, and his whole shed is usually about the size of a golf ball! Lol

Holy crap! That's insane, I wonder how they manage to get it to roll up so small, especially since they're not intentionally thinking 'hmm, lemme just roll this up in a bundle real quick here' hahah

Kingsleys first shed he shed his head to about mid body. That was in plan sight. Evaluated him. All of it was gone but could find the other half and tail tip. So I'm like "wtf mate?" Go to move his cool whip bowl to feed him later on. It was stuck to the edge of it. Almost invisible. I laughed for a good 5 mins haha.
