So my corn shed the other day and for the first time it didnt come off all in one piece. I checked my husbandry and my humidity was a bit off (explaining the shed coming off in pieces) but I have since adjusted some things and it has returned to normal. But that's not the issue here.
I removed the skin from the tank after she was done, but about half of the skin is missing.
I have already checked the ENTIRE tank. I took out every hide/plant/dish and thoroughly checked each object, and I then went through the substrate handful by handful. She didn't appear to have any skin stuck to her. I put her in some lukewarm water to soak just in case there was anything stuck to her, but after a good 20-30mins of soaking there were still no signs of skin stuck to her.
I think I've basically ruled out the possibilities of the shed still being stuck to her or hidden in her tank somewhere.
Does anybody have ANY clue what may be going on here?
She couldn't possibly have eaten it, could she?!
Am I just over-reacting? Or should I be genuinely concerned?!
