shedding mystery?

My 9 month old ghost corn had cloudy eyes and looked dull, like he usually does before shedding, but today i checked in on him, no skin around his tank, but his eyes were clear and he looked alot brighter. was he just stressed or something? has this happened to any one else before?
 
Agreed. Perfectly normal part of the process. You should see a shed in the next few days.
 
yeah his shed but his tail still needs to shed abit more, the worst shed his had, usually goes well, might be the adverse weather lately
 
That's good news!

Pop a small container in with him, containing damp kitchen paper. Hopefully he'll go sit in it to help shed that last bit. Tail tips need to come off otherwise the end of the tail can die and drop off - not good.
